The defining feature of the OC-EP-01 is its one-piece welding process. Where a conventional cold plate joins a separate fitting to the plate body — creating a threaded or compression joint that can work loose, seal unevenly, or corrode at the interface — the OC-EP-01 forms the plate and water nozzle as a single welded body.
That matters more than it might appear. Every mechanical joint is a potential leak path, and as industry reliability analysis has repeatedly noted, coolant reaching power electronics or control hardware is the expensive failure mode in liquid-cooled equipment. Eliminating a joint at the manufacturing stage removes that risk before the plate ever reaches your production line, and it removes an inspection point from your own assembly process.
For equipment builders, the benefit is a cooling component that is specified once and then trusted — not re-torqued, re-sealed, or re-examined at every service interval.
At 255 mm × 128.5 mm and just 11 mm thick, the OC-EP-01 fits where a thicker or bulkier plate cannot. All-aluminum construction keeps the weight to 0.65 kg — light enough to mount directly on equipment structures without adding meaningful mechanical load, and a good match for power electronics modules that need cooling close to the heat source rather than a remote liquid loop.
The 9.2 mm outer-diameter interface accepts 8 mm to 10 mm inner-diameter tubing, covering the standard liquid guide hose sizes used in industrial equipment cooling. The result is straightforward integration: fewer adapters, fewer joints, and a shorter path from design to working hardware.
The OC-EP-01 is engineered for mechanical equipment power supplies and comparable water-cooled electronics — the class of application where a compact aluminum plate must operate continuously, tolerate vibration and thermal cycling, and never introduce coolant into the electrical enclosure.
